Departure to "Koblenz Stadtmitte" by following Mosel. Mosel is a river running through France, Luxembourg, and Germany. (French: Moselle, Luxembourg: Musel.) It is a tributary of the Rhine, with which he contributes to Koblenz. The area between Trier and Koblenz is in the 13 areas with high quality German vineyards known under the name of the "Mosel" river.

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, route of this year's trip. About 200 km on the river with beautiful villages and towns. With vineyards climbing incredible slopes along the banks of the river and the adjacent hills! Quite dilapidated and not, castles and towers.

In the plateaus on the banks of the river, countless private camping, and municipal camper-stop.

After "Koblenz" we followed "Rhein",

"Between Vigen and Bonn, the "middle Rhine" crosses the "Rhine Gorge", which is quite deep and is the part known as the romantic Rhine because there are more than 40 medieval castles, vineyards and many villages in that area." (From Wikipedia).

We stayed in Bacharach. Not at the campsite Campingplatz Sonnenstrand
https://www.camping-rhein.de/

there was a camper-stop, managed by the campsite, but I did not know it, asked me camping prices and charge the dog too!
From their page ...
"The use of campsite and especially sanitary facilities is permitted
The parking fee is € 9.00 and is valid until 15:00
The trailer parking fee is € 1.00
The fee is paid to the nearby Campinggaststatte
Departure time is 15:00 »
So we slept 300 yards before at camper-parking with a parking meter next to a park and the river...

We start to Wurzburg with a stop near "Freigerict" to buy a battery from "Lion tecshop" for the electric bike. (250 € with charger versus 360 nept in Greece...)

Outside the "Mainz" on the motorway I passed the biggest traffic mess of the all trip ... with all this, we arrived at Wurzburg at the afternoon...
12 € riverside parking on the River Main, with large trees, no facilities!

A Great beer garden at the entrance, no more than 800 meters walking on the bank and you are entering the city from the bridge

At the other end is a bar, with a 5 ~ 7 € + 5 € guarantee for the glass, you enjoy your cocktail on the bridge ...

Rothenburg
Medieval festival! Too many locals dressed in season clothes, such as sacks and horses, horses and carts... Small groups were turning around by playing medieval music and singing - like our own carols - from a shop to a shop, taking something from the shopkeepers, but also a realistic representation of the daily life in a set village beside the walls. Petters, bakeries, washing machines and others...

These and the outdoor canteens from different local beers and the other with sausages plus live music were a beautiful place to visit with the sweet price of 7.5 € ...
Camber stop just outside the walls, 10 € parking, clean toiletries, chemical emptying. other facilities extra.
and the brassy...

09-06
“Schwangau”
The area is famous and highly touristy for its 2 castles. The Marienbrücke & Schloss Neuschwanstein

Museum der bayerischen Könige

Shortly before, the "Tegelberg" top with 2 restaurants at the cable car exit, offers a panoramic view of the Alps, the lakes and the castles. For the bold, there is the possibility of walking down on a well-marked path. We do not…

“The cable car to Tegelberg” cost 20 €, a goulash with a ½ kilo of wine 17 €

Cable car parking 2.5 € for 4 hours and castles 6 €! It did not contribute and was preferred to stay in the huge lakeside campsite for "residents" more or less...
up to aluminum windows... what to have back? a wall covered with what...

17 €, with electricity, water and all the facilities in the campsites - but parking in the camperstop only.

The visit to the castles was done by bike, as the distance was only 5 km

in the middle of a church with Alps us background

10-06
Pass from "Fussen" the last city of the "romantic road" that was definitely worth the trouble, hence so tourist.

Α Visit - with a 101 km detour- in the village of Ditzingen, to a very good friend from Lavrion who started work in the municipality of Stuttgart 25 years ago. He made the dream a reality and keeps one of the best Greek taverns in the wider area in his own old building!

11-06
A short pass from "Uberlingen", although we did not stay We find it quite interesting, we were out of time plus that we did not like the camper-stop. 10 €, extra water & electricity and toilet for a fee (€ 0.50)
47.775848, 9.151155

we continued from the lakeside path to "Lindau" also interesting, where we stayed in a beautiful but dull camper-stop 20 € !!! Which, of course, we did not pay, as we arrived at night and left for Italy early morning

for these two cities and the lake, I have to devote more time to a future visit to Germany...
12-06
“Verona”

With 10€ but under the all-day shade of huge trees, next to a river - invaluable value - if you consider that the thermometer had climbed to 35 degrees!
Empty gray and chemical. It does not have power and toilets but the water supply is free of charge.
It is also close to the Historic Center!
13-06
To “Ravenna”

visiting a girlfriend and cycling in the historic center!

On the parking lot rather than a camper-stop of 2,25 € - attention must be just to work - we parked a little off the ground because of the only decent shadow but no remark was made by the employees of the Municipality when they passed for control
44.41425, 12.18881

is at 1km from the historic center, it has a place for emptying chemical WC and gray water as well as water supply. Attention is at the other end of the parking spaces! The toilets just opposite are paid (0,50 €) and next to the square there is a canteen and two fixed rooms - shops - one with cold meats and the other with deliciously cooked fish to take with you - non has tables - at very good prices!

the second camper-stop by the train station better Forget it... a mess!

14-06
“Ancona”
The worst route of this year's trip, I could say! 90% through a residential area- with what this entails - and the most damaged road that I have driven on this trip forced me to travel 149 km in 4 hours !!!
In Ancona, arrived at afternoon, parking for overnight stay 100 meters after the gate of the check-in area.
Next to a lovely canteen where together with Greek truck drivers! We became one company, we ate the "dirty" and we were pleased with our beers, keeping it open until 12:30 instead of 9:30 ...

15-06
parking - under the bridges - shade - in the check-in area from 08:00 am and up to 1 hour before the departure of the ship.

Mileage of 10,168 km was spent, with oil cost of 1,237 €. The total cost was kept with a lot of effort at 3,300 € plus 1,400 the repair(disc, deck, fly) plus tickets.
A ride along rivers for the most part!
In Spain, “Rio Duero”, “Rio Pisuerga”, “Rio Arianzon”, “Rio Zadorra”, “Rio Deba”.
In France, “La Garonne”, ”La Gave de Pau”, “Loire“,
“La Mane”.
In Germany, “Mosel”, “Rhein”, “Main”, “Eger”, “ Wornitz”, ”Lech”.
In Austria, “Inh”, “Sill”.
In Italy, “Isarco”, ”Adige”.
