Boarding without any problem.
The ship with clean garage spaces and toilets, but problematic in terms of access to the living room, restaurants due to lack of elevator...

Getting on time in Ancona and the beginning of a mess...
Chaotic traffic, all the way to Ravenna!! It is most likely because of the crisis that we have avoided the worst of the traffic problem at least ...
In Ravenna overnight in 'camper parking' with 2,25 € 24 hours a day.. It is, however, in a beautiful square 10 minutes walk from the main square with what you can look around, a small town you see ...
pay attention just 2.25! (2-20-05) It took me 10 minutes to figure out that it was not working because I put 2-20-10 ... but it gets a card too!

Hang out at the evening with the company of old friends and a promise to see them again on the return, whenever I will visit the town see and transfer you the sights and experience of the city.

Departure after Hara's walk for the encounter with the others that had gone on and had an overnight parking in a beautiful "free" camper stop at Modena.
Parcheggio Parco Ferrari

The 126km route was due to the aforementioned traffic chaos by Autostrata, toil 7.70 € only 10 cent difference - to my great surprise - from a normal car (7.60 €) !!!
Somewhere we decided to separate with the others and I- blindly- followed the GPS - the beginner- I found myself coming to San Remo where we would spend the night through... France!!!
!I was compensated, of course, through a wonderful journey going up from "Guneo" to "Limone" ski resort with enough snow - at the edges of the road - from a big tunnel in France where we went down to Menton riding next to a river in a beautiful gorge!!!

Return to Italy, 20 km to find the others in 'San Remo' In a previous post, I had heard overnight parking at the former station, but we have to forget it because the price was 1.80 € per hour for 24 hours a day!!!
43.813923, 7.775234
Neither of the most expensive campsite!
Instead, we stayed 2 km from the centre, on the beach at a camper stop & caravans "free" probably due to the season...

‘’Arles”.
We had an unpleasant surprise today. The traffic problem in the track from the French border to Marseilles is unacceptable! 100 km at 3:30 hours !!!
Personally, no matter what the cost - I will learn the tolls price- I will never cross again this particular part of France off the motorway!
With these and others we managed to travel 320 km to 8:30 hours !!! Overnight in an unacceptable "free", "Camper parking" next to the station and the river. Its only good that it was next to the historical center of "Arles"

A short city walk and dinner in a small restaurant next to the entrance of the walled city.

06-04
“Saint- Martory”
Today we did not have a traffic problem... The most part of the drive was on motorways - no toll- and with a 45-minute rest in a beautiful riverside parking lot,
we arrived early in the afternoon in the small and picturesque Saint-Martory. The choice was very good, as the camper stops next to the river, on the old bridge and opposite of the town hall.

Crisp toilets, gray, and water and all this with 3 €, you have to leave it in a can on the door of the town hall...
Oppositely a bar, where we sat for a glass of wine after a short ride at the old city. We spent a lot and we would spend more time with him - a cheerful owner- if he did not close so early, a village you see and in French.

07-04
Discreetly from 06:00 a small folk - no fewer than twenty benches - the market has been set up in the parking lot next to us. I understood it only when Hara start to be worried...
At 08:00 an employee of the municipality made toilets so but so clean!!!
The route today is to "San Sebastian" somewhere we lost with the others and so the appointment was set at the chamber stop at the destination.
Good company but finally I was driving less stressed and looser than the 'convoy', apart from that I did not resist the temptation for a little 'siesta'...
With these and other things, despite the relatively tolerable traffic, I arrived at "San Sebastian" to a full camber stop late and parked slightly illegally to cover the minimum remaining space...
in this particular camper stop, I have been mentioned on a previous trip. price is 3.30 € with all, water, empty black, grey. But No toilets and not tables out ...

09-04
“Leon”
Due to a problem with the clutch - it shows up from the entrance to France - metal noise in the neutral gear and a push on the foot, I decided not to drag it further with many gear changes. So I entered the motorway from "San Sebastian" to "Burgos".
The rest of the track (A231) to "Leon" is similar to the motorway but "free".
The two tolls, of course, I paid them 12 + 12 €...
We arrived in the afternoon and met with the others- he was arriving without using the toll road- at the club's meeting point.

10-09
The morning we paid a visit to "Ford" where it was decided to enter Easter Monday for inspection. this gearbox...
I'll spend it all week with the federation as it was planned...
The daily schedule to do not make you tired is as follows.
Necessarily walk with Hara to the adjacent river. amazingly landscaped with a pedestrian street, bicycle path, and lawn for pets...

The rest of the day with the bike in the beautiful old town with several medieval buildings and churches. A lot of small squares with just as many small bars as "tapas" ...

Το ποτήρι το κρασί συνοδευόμενο από 2 μεζέδες στοιχίζει από 1,60~2,00€…
11-04
Same story...
12-04
Coach tour in Cave "Cueva de valporquero"
47 kilometers north of 'Leon' at 1,386 meters up.

A splendid route through the Gorges Vegacervera canyon with its narrowest point of 15 meters width and 100 m high walls! The river Vergacervera runs along the very narrow road.

13-04
walking around in the city - the historic center - you will meet almost all morning and late afternoon, something like a marshmallow to wander with hooded bands and supported by equal hoods!!!

Yes, you have read well, hooded like KKK!!! scary... Poor 'witches'...
14-04
around for "tapas"

Today, Friday the climax of the events in the city - I'm leaving for there ...

15-04

the parking space out of their home...

26-04
Departing from Porto to Spain, with a stop at the Frontier in Miranda do Douro, and that's because the friends mentioned it as a special beauty area.
It is the point where the Douro River enters through a narrow canyon in Portugal and is poured into the Atlantic in Porto.
At this point, it is floating and there is also an ecological cruise ship with an eco-boat of 120 people for one hour - 18 € is not a few - but it has at return a free test of "Porto" White and Red wines...

The route now. The exit from Porto - bridge crossing, 45 minutes - and the chaos at the beginning of the route forced me to enter on a toll road (category 2) 6,70 € to "Vila Real" 65 km, total 285 km to 4: 30 hours. The road very good afterwards, "Autovia", in Portugal and Spain, like our own tolls but free...

Oh, there are some with the electronic toll, but I did not bother to learn what is playing, I just used them ...
"Miranda do Douro" is now a small town on the gorge's eyebrow. The medieval centre, now surrounded by walls, a charming church,

a nice square and some remarkable buildings ...

Absolute wilderness after 19:00, alone at the square's bar and amid a 'philosophical discussion' with the barman/owner about the crisis - here and there - I learned that at the historic centre has living no more than 50 permanent residents, mostly over 60 and it has only lived in the tourist season also that young people have fun in the new city ...

I parked right after entering the old town, on a nearly empty- at night- nice central square.

I believe that summer will be impossible but there is space, though not flat just outside and along the walls.

27-04
The passage from the dam at 1 km, which is also the border with Spain a desert, a provincial road in excellent condition which after 30 km falls on the national road and another 23 km in "Zamora" where our first stop.
Fortunately, we saw about 10 motorhomes parked for overnight stays, with chemical toilets - cleaned by a special car in front of us - at the beginning of a large park and 10 minutes walk from the historic centre.

So Bicycling at the tourist office, where the noble young man, apart from other churches and museums, pointed out to us and the tapas bar area!
the castle

the central square

the courthouse

after the imposed siesta - we are in Spain - We started for "Pamplona / Iruna" through "Valladolid","Burgos", "Vitoria Gasteiz" by an impeccable "Autovia"

with one or two strips per direction across a plain but many kilometres (450), at 330km was getting dark, so we spent the night in Vitoria Gasteiz in a free camper stop with drinking water, emptying chemical and grey but capacities of only 10 motorhomes!
In the wider parking lot, of course, many more and some caravans too. It is a neighbourhood with cheap and good restaurants/bars in visual contact with the parking...

We did not visit the historic center, without finding it - after a casual internet survey - quite interesting...
28-04
After a beautiful route to a semi-mountainous area, we arrived at Pamplona, known for the hunting of people by the bulls in the straits of the old city - the revenge of the bull - but in July.
Parking and overnight in a neighbourhood 3.5 km from the historic centre, next to a beautiful park.
42.8135, -1.62106

Early afternoon I was cycling in the historic centre with a beautiful square,

a deluxe town hall

a monument devoted to the 'victims' of the road bullfighting

and what else, the huge cathedral ...

Also interesting is the area of "minxtos" - so-called "tapas" in Bask. except that here very young people sit up and sit outside...

However, -a positive impression - was that in both countries (Spain- Portugal) nobody even thing to smoke indoors, not even the 'friends' of the bar...
At the return, I was stopped by the police because I was holding my mobile while I was cycling !!!I I got rid of the fine because I showed them that I used it as a GPS (map on the screen ...) but with an observation in impeccable English - when they want to talk it they can- to find a way to fix it on the bike...
29-04
Departure for San Sebastian a few miles, 86...
But we had to be there early and find some space at the camper stop. 30 places at the camper stop - which we did not find anyway - but we emptied the grey water, chemical WC, we also supplied water and we parked in a nearby, vertical, quiet street on campus. It certainly has parking meters but weekends and public holidays is free ...

I show during the Journey of Hara 120 outside + 35 in 'Camper Stop' 155 motorhomes!!! Because of the three-day holidays (?)...
it had Spanish and French plates, except me and 6 Germans.
Meeting in the afternoon with new friends in the neighbourhood's restaurant/bar and conversation- with a translation by the English-speaking people- after wine and "minxtos" on every science...

My right, barwomen, left... I do not remember...
Today, Sunday, we went with Hara to a long walk to the adjacent park, 11:00 a fine rain began, and it began to blow at intervals a strong cold air!
