Oslo
After a short and relatively indifferent route, I went to a kind of camping or rather parking in a marina with showers and toilets. Bus stop at the entrance, all cost 15 €

in Oslo, with the Van, I visit first the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the most beautiful park in Oslo, full of impressive statues.
There it was that the GPS refuses to work - it did not find any satellites- it works again in the morning... Necessarily and due to the time I stayed to sleep in the marina where the cruise ships were leaving, right next to the Harbor...
No problem. I was just a stone's throw away from the town hall and the "Stranden" in front of a bustling promenade for locals and tourists at "Aker Brygge". Next to the Nobel building.
Μost Photo, beside the place we spent overnight, even a tango on the pier of the Norwegians...

Oslo to Forde
From then on, beauty begins to me! Getting North, following the best routes in Europe. This time I drive on the E16 and after on road 5.
Camping by the glacier... The words are unnecessary...

Day 2 (road E6, 17) from Oppdal-Flakkan to the Namsen 337km.
22-06-2011
Day 3 (at road17), Flakkan- Vennesund. an infinite beauty path of more kilometres and ferry than if we followed E6 but was worth!
The last ferry from Kilboghavn- Jetkvik were, just before the middle of the route, we crossed the polar parallel 66 33'.

4th-day Vennesund- Mo.
With a small bypass for the Torghatten mountain hole.
www.vulkaner.no/t/rv17/torghatten.html
we took the E6 to the Bognes-Lodingen ferry where we continued to E10 until Sortland.
Then, from local roads to the fishing village Mo
the place of boarding on the inflatable on the island.

Traditional fire at night of the midnight sun and dinner - various fish species up to whale souvlaki - unprecedented.

7th day
Back to Mo and hospitality - we set up the tents on the grass in their garden - from a Norwegian's friendly couple!!!
with overnight parking by the beach for the midnight sun- at last, it does not rain!
during the round, we were hosted three times by the organizer's friends, incredible hosting.
In the evenings, the bungalow rental in the campsites was ultimately the cheapest solution. (for the camber I did not pay as I slept with them) and it was the only way to be - because of rain - all together...

At Holmenkollen National Ski Arena
The Van for safety reasons stayed at the marina parking lot, which I highly recommend. It is strictly for motorhomes - not for caravans - with water, 220, toilets and showers and only 150 kroner regardless of people.
The bus stop is at the entrance of the marina and at 15 min. you are at the centre.

The experience of driving in Norway was great. The speed limit is mostly 80 km/h at the best 90 km, speeds that they respect from the locals. The most km of the national network is with one lane per direction and the provincial one, only with one lane- yes one- with meeting points at regular intervals. It is logical that the slow vehicles, not so much the trucks, but you guessed correctly, some motorhome drivers, together with the total lack of straight roads create endless queues. There are tolls, most electronics, in rare cases. You just do not pay it...
I pass two that you are throwing coins. Whatever is, throwing or not, the bar- if any - it was opened...
When returning through E6 and 3 in Oslo and beyond, I met the most motorhomes and few caravans, so many that I have not met during my driving at all my years! Two to one more of the simple cars, without exaggeration!
Another surprise is that 95% of homes/ large farms in the province have a caravan or motorhome parked in the yard along with farm machinery and expensive cars.
Next chapter it will be the itinerary to the way back to Greece
